Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn about Wesley's Cause. We are on a mission to save lives and prevent the devastating impact of the fentanyl crisis through incentivization for addicts to take the sublocade shot and a different approach to an anonymous and individualized type of recovery.

About Us

I am a Registered Nurse and a proud graduate of Johns Hopkins University. My son, Wesley, had just turned 18 on December 22, 2021, when he tragically passed away from a fentanyl overdose on January 24, 2022. In his memory, I have established this foundation, Wesley’s Cause, to ensure his legacy lives on by saving the lives of others, even in death.

VISION

As a nonprofit, our mission is not to provide a single product or service but to support individuals in achieving long-term recovery—spiritually, mentally, and physically. The standard approach to healthcare should never be “one size fits all,” yet addiction recovery remains dominated by outdated, stigmatized methods that fail to recognize individual needs.
We are committed to transforming the recovery process by offering a structured application-based program for individuals seeking medical intervention as part of their journey. Through a targeted local pilot program, we will provide qualified applicants with access to the Sublocade shot, an evidence-based treatment that aids in breaking free from opioid dependence.
This initiative is designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of personalized, stigma-free recovery solutions. With measurable success, we will expand our efforts—raising awareness, securing funding, and scaling our model to create a broader impact at regional and national levels. Our vision is to redefine addiction recovery, making individualized care accessible to those who need it most.

MISSION

Wesley’s Reach is committed to addressing the opioid crisis with a tangible, results-oriented solution. Our mission is to support high-functioning individuals trapped in addiction by providing a structured pathway to recovery—one that prioritizes medical intervention and long-term success.
Through an application-based program, we identify individuals who are ready to break free from opioid dependence and equip them with access to the Sublocade shot, a proven treatment that eliminates withdrawal and cravings. However, recovery is more than just medical intervention. We ensure that participants receive the critical resources needed to address the underlying causes of addiction, allowing for sustainable reintegration into society.
We reject the notion that addiction must be a lifelong struggle. By challenging outdated recovery models and eliminating barriers to treatment, we are restoring lives, rebuilding futures, and reshaping a system that has failed too many.
Addiction does not discriminate—neither should recovery.
Join Wesley’s Cause today. Together, we can combat the fentanyl crisis and prevent future losses.

APPLICATION FORM

INCENTIVE: 5 applicants will be thoughtfully selected based upon many factors. The most imputed of which is the perceived likelihood, of the majority of the team choosing, of your receiving a second shot. For the first shot, you will only need to get the sublocade shot and write a release form or get your own records and submit them showing that you were positive upon your first test for opiates, went through your detox (they should prescribe comfort meds), and that you returned for the shot and received it. Once this has been confirmed you’ll be GIVEN $500. IF you make it to the second shot at 30 days after the first, you’ll receive $1,000.
While honesty is paramount in our methods and process; as a former addict myself.I understand there are times where a vague answer is the best answer one can provide given the nature or topic of a certain question.
Please just be as honest as possible within reason and keep in mind that every single person within our non-profit has been through the opioid addiction recovery process.
